Accessible ground transportation is available to the airport, seaport, South Broward County, the Upper and Middle Keys, and to most areas of Miami-Dade County. These public transit services are offered via Metrobus, Metrorail, Metromover, and Paratransit services. Reduced-fare bus and rail permits may be required for residents and visitors with disabilities. Medicare recipients from other jurisdictions may ride at the reduced fare by showing the Medicare card. (A photo ID may be requested by transit officials). Find out about Special Transportation Service (STS) which provides curb-to-curb taxi and wheelchair van service for people with disabilities to anywhere in Miami-Dade, and parts of South Broward and the Upper to Middle Keys.
